The Remote Working profile is a solution made for users who work in and out of the office. The profile comes with business applications that make the user reachable and effective at what they do. The standard application given to a Remote Worker is the One-X Mobile application. This means single number reach and dial; when the worker is out of the office they can be reached by office phone, and can also make calls from their office phone via their mobile device (BYOD).
The Office Worker improves or enhances the business environment. There are a few options. The first is to equip the employee with an Avaya 9608 handset integrated with the One-X Office working application. The application allows for quick dialling, and a virtualised interface for the handset through their computer. Alternatively there is the virtual handset for iPad, which removes the need for an actual handset.
